Holden's Haircut

I've been lax in writing posts lately, I apologize....things have been crazy. I'm back at it, promising more posts more often. In lieu of missing posts the past couple of months, look to the right and see some of our photos we've taken over the past year....

So, those of you who haven't seen Holden lately...he's been in dire need of a haircut. I guess we've put it off, trying to hold on to the last shreds of infanthood (is that a word?). Anyway, this weekend we could wait no longer, we took Holden to the "Country Cutaway"....

I find it so hard to believe that in a little more than 2 weeks, he will be 1 year old....1 year. It is a mixture of :

• disbelief (has it been a year already??)
• reflection (Alicia and I cannot imagine the past year without him)
• relief (We've made it...)
• sadness (he's definitely no longer an infant)

We love our son so much. Alicia and I will look at Holden, then each other, then smile and both know that we're thinking the same thing..."I love him"....
